Who we are

Our story

In 1999, marathon runner and future pastor Cesinha had a meeting with a child in the city of Belo Horizonte MG, which would change his whole life. Impacted by the harsh reality of that child, he decided to do something! Then began – Cecore / Brazil – Sports Center Corredores do Reino – in the Alps Village in Morro das Pedras – the largest complex of favelas in the city. We currently serve more than xx children in school, with the mission of transforming the lives of children and adolescents through the sport of love and the Gospel of Jesus. In 2010, we were commissioned by the Lord and arrived in Africa where we found a reality much more difficult than Brazil. There we implemented Cecore / Mozambique and Casa Nutrir – which welcomes children with severe malnutrition. Together the programs cater to children. And now we invite you to dream about us with Cecore / Johannesburg.

In Mozambique we work with children, young people and adults. We offer a nutrition program (Casa Nutrir) to pregnant women and children up to 3 years. We have pre-literacy school as well as music, football and Bible study classes. We have a race team formed by young people served by the project.
